Chinese New Year

We went to the Chinese New Year celebration at the local museum yesterday afternoon. The kids got to paint a paper lantern, put a wish inside and send it across the "river" to make their wish come true. They also practiced with chopsticks and got some stickers and a red envelope with a coin. My favorite part was the free Chinese food--egg rolls, wantons and fortune cookies.

Learning is Fun

Ethan was given the class teddy bear to take home and record what he did with him over the weekend. I just looked over to see a belt tied around the bear's leg and Ethan saying, "We're gonna get a lot of meat out of this one."

My Little Talker

Since we got back from our vacation Aaron has decided to add some new words to his vocabulary. Perhaps sitting in a car for hours on end got him thinking. His favorites are go, cool, thank you, two, and three.
