Yesterday after church we tackled the garage. I went into the attic and got out a bunch of clothes to give away, consign or have Laina wear. I seem to be able to purge a little at a time over the years, so by the time they go to college I probably won't have any clothes, toys, etc.. left. Ha, Ha. Ethan had a great time discovering new things to play with. He looks like some sort of futuristic soldier in this picture.

Today's Verse
We have been having fun around here the last few days with the gorgeous weather. Laurin left for Washington D.C. on Sunday and Paul, me, Laina, Ethan and Isabelle went to see Disney on Ice Monster's Inc. It was a fun day, but with the time change we were all pretty tired by the end of the day. Isabelle stayed all night and the girls enjoyed playing with each other. They got so into acting like dinosaurs I caught them putting grass in their mouths. It reminded me of the time a few years ago when I was washing the car. I saw that the fronts of their shirts were all wet and asked how they got that way. Isabelle said that they were getting a drink of water. Knowing that we had no cups outside I was startled to find that they had used empty flower pots as cups!

Today's Verse
I have been reading Tortured For Christ and it has really gotten me thinking. We Christians in America think that we have it so bad because people want to take down the ten commandments in public places and take In God We Trust off of our money. Meanwhile, Christians around the world are being tortured and murdered for spreading the gospel. I'm not saying that we should let our religious freedoms be taken away in America, I just think that we "western" Christians should be thankful for the freedoms we do have and remember those that don't have it as easy as we do.
