I caught the last 20 minutes of Laurin's first soccer game ever. It's good that I showed up then because apparently that is the only time she played the entire hour and a half. The team played Resurrection Fellowship school of all people and they only lost by one goal. That's pretty phenomenal considering they have only been practicing for a month. I still don't know the rules or what the different positions are, so I don't think that I'm cut out for soccer momdom. On another note, Laurin has one "friend" that gets so jealous of Laurin because she knows people everywhere they go together. The first day of school Laurin knew 4 classmates already. The two went to the mall in Ft. Collins together and Laurin ran into a girl who lives down the street from us. Laurin visited the girl's house across town and ran into the parents of someone who had gone to elementary school with her. And nowLaurin shows up at a soccer game held at a different school and knows almost everyone on the opposing team. It's pretty funny.
